Commodity Brokers

OIC welcomes introductions from credible commodity brokers, agents and authorised representatives with verifiable access to legitimate buyers, sellers, mines, producers or titleholders.

All brokers and proposed counterparties are subject to OIC’s onboarding and due-diligence procedures. These may include:
  • Company and identity verification
  • KYC, AML and sanctions screening
  • Proof of mandate or authority
  • Product ownership and origin verification
  • Confirmation of licences and export rights
  • Verification of specifications, quantities and pricing
  • Disclosure of the complete intermediary chain

No broker or agent may represent, bind or incur obligations on behalf of OIC without prior written authority. Commissions are payable only under a written agreement and following the successful completion of the underlying transaction.

OIC does not accept requests for advance payments, deposits, mobilisation fees, taxes, duties or undocumented preliminary charges.
